Artist Bio
My name is Greg Badger, and I am a visual artist based in the rolling hills and orchards of Peru, NY.
I am driven to explore my surroundings through drawing and painting. With my work, I seek to inspire and intrigue viewers to see the beauty and wonder of the world around us. My artwork ranges from bold, sweeping sunsets and historical images to playful portraits of llamas. My process is a deliberate and thoughtful exploration of textures, colors, and forms. Through my work, I aim to heighten the audience's awareness of their surroundings, inviting them to connect with the natural world in a new and profound way. I invite you to join me on a journey to discover the world through my artwork.
Living in New York for the past 30 years, I've also been able to partner with artists and community organizations to create large scale public artworks. These project give residents and visitors a greater appreciation for the arts and a chance to contemplate something outside their day to day life experience.
